I was slacklining yesterday and I fell on my foot a couple times. I didn't land on it in an awkward or rolled position just on a normal flat foot. Also all my weight was on that foot. A couple times while falling off the slackline and landing on my foot I would get a sorta rough compression like pain in the area right above my ankle bone on top of my foot. It felt like all the blood had rushed to my foot and it was real tight when I fell on it.....? It's a bit sore today in that same area but nothing that limits me. Anyone have an idea of what or why this happens?

Probably similar to the pain carpenters (and ice climbers) feel in their wrists at the end of a hard day. Try to absorb some impact with your knees next time, yeah?
