Hi All,
This is my first thread in the forum! YAY

I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for a textured paint finish for a commercial plywood boulder? Were putting in an addition to our gym (Grand River Rocks) and having a hard time getting reports on different products like GymTex or NicroTex or Gelcoat.

For plywood volumes, I typically use a heavy duty floor paint with silica sand for grit. The texture is great, but it tends to flatten under the compression of a hold.

Any experiences, good or bad?

About half of my garage wall is coated in NicroTex. I like it. It is quite abrasive, but very durable.

This may also be a solution, if you only want/need texture in certain places.
