Trying to figure out the best way to carry things on a long bouldering approach, when my buddy and I both will have crash pads. We're going to be camping, there's no water in the area, so we will have a moderate amount of stuff though we're going as minimal as possible. Landings are very rocky in this area so we want two pads else one guy could carry a big pack in traditional manner. Is about all you can do is shove stuff inside each pad, and wear a smaller pack reversed in front kangaroo style? Or has anyone come up with anything more clever. Concerned wearing a pack reversed over a long distance is going to be super uncomfortable and impractical. cheers
