What are some good ways to stay warm during a climb (besides buy warm clothing). i am talking about improving circulation and that type of stuff, or is there any way?

Hands- a trick I call the friction rub, put hands palm to palm between knees, squeeze knees onto palms while you rub hands together. Also tape hand warmers to wrists. Feet- bread bag VBL Face- OR Gorilla Balaclava with face shield. Body- Windshirt, you can work like hell in them without sweating too much, and the wind won't get to you.

I put my hands on my neck to warm them. This is especially good when I wear a hood. Also a puffy down jacket can be great, although usually just for belaying. Wear gloves for belaying and when not climbing. face in the sun is much better than shady finger cracks. I guess a lot of the strategies depend on what temperatures are out there, and if it is sunny or windy or precipitating.
