So I'm thinking of heading to Zion to do some climbing, however, my magic transportation machine is out of commision for a while so I'll be using an aeroplane and potentially a car, neither of which I own. Are there any alternatives to getting there aside from flying into Vegas and thumbing/renting a car?
Option #2-I potentially have a ride from Phoenix to Zion in early March so I'd be heading out of Zion around the 20th of March or so and attempting to get back to Phoenix. Is anyone wanting to give me a ride back to Phoenix around this time?
Also the shuttle bus in Zion runs this time of year correct?

The shuttle starts running in April. However, people seem to be pretty friendly when it comes to hitching in the park. Good luck.
