Any recommendations on good used pocket cruisers? 24' +maybe? Not looking for blue water yet. What makers to avoid or what may be a price range? Realize there are a number of variables to be concerned about. Any help would be appreciated.

J-24's are a great value. You can get a decent one for about five grand. I would say that you should avoid catalina's or hunters. There are many boats that are around 20' that have centerboards and can be trailored very easily. Hope this helps....
