My little sister isn't old enough to climb with our teen group, but asked, for Christmas, if she could come with me. She also asked for stuff for her American Girl doll... so I decided to make climbing gear for her doll. So far, I have a decent harnass (it's sooo cute) and some ropes... I've got the biners covered, any suggestions on how I would go about making shoes, belay devices, or anything else?

My daughter is into AG too, don't forget a little coil of rope...maybe get some thin cord(multicolored) and coil it up.
Gotta find some shoes too.

if ag already has some shoes or accesoriy shoes- just buy a pair of those- go to the hardware store and get plasti-dip in black, dip the bottom of the shoes in this junk- then wait for it to dry. once it is dry- grab a exacto knife and customize both the shoes and the rubber until they look like climbing shoes. may cost a little, but would definitely do the trick...
not that I know anything about dolly clothes...
