nice to know you're heading to QQ tomorrow, GO. I might be able to make it for an afternoon - like 2pm-on. I might take a run up to Monadnock tomorrow for a morning "summit attempt" hehehe. But after that it's about 60-40 chance that I'm heading to Quincy. I'd love to climb those routes you need climbed and help you and Rich with the concensus situation. When will you folks be there TD? Jeff? GO? Beuhler?

The voices in my head are telling me to go to QQ.......must go to QQ....don't know when I'll show up , perhaps early, perhaps mid AM. I hosy this; if you come early (in the am) bring morning food, bagles, donuts, etc. If you come later, noonish bring munchies, hot dogs, or something. Of course I'm bringing coffee !

The west is slowly opening up, climbed two weekends in a row; some wet stuff alot of dry stuff. All the hard stuff is dry, I'm ok with that.

Hey, Sorry I missed you this weekend. I couldn't get onto the site (anyone else have that problem?) and didn't know what the plans were. Anyway, I can't climb this weekend but would anyone be interested in heading up to Rumney the following weekend? -Pete

What to do , where to go..the forcast for the weekend is lousy with snow arriving late sunday...only in new england folks. I'm very interested in going to CR to see what the hub bub is about, Rumney.....sounds like a weekend thing, pseudo camping trip for a couple few nights, climbing for a few days..I know all you white collars out there have like a billion paid days off...use em or lose em I say. I can always call in dead.. ANy way I'll be poagin' around somewhere this weekend.

I'm lookin for a Rumney partner for Monday or Wednesday. I don't know what the weather is forcasted to be, but I'd like to get up there and climb sometime. That's Monday or Wednesday the 31st or 2nd. Anyone up for it? I like to get going early - like leaving home at 6 am and climbing from like 830 to 230. PM me or respond here. jeremy

BonesZ, the weather for sat says PM showers, so if it's dry through the morning/early afternoon, I'd like to have a go at College Rock...there's a neat little cafe right down the road about 2 miles, good for coffee/pastries, and I live about 4 miles away...let me know if you (or anybody else) wants to try to hook up...I will likely bring my son with for some scrambling action. anybody got a medium harness he could borrow?

Rumney is great right now - I've been going since March 1st and it's been excellent, but with the recent warm weather it's even better now. Lots of stuff i wet. If you go up, check out Bonsai, 5.8 Crag, central Parking Lot wall, and the Armed & Dangerous section of Main Cliff. I'd love to join some of you at Rumney, but I don't usually get out until 2 or 3PM (after class) on weekdays. jan

Jeff, dirs might be there. I checked the dirs on the RC.com routes DB and I should really update them, they arent precise enough (Orangekayak, I aint' castin' no aspersions, dig? ;-) ) it's really easy to get to: them if yo're coming from B-town, take the pike west to 495 south. Get off at exit 20 (rte 85 milford) left off the exit. follow rte 85 2.2 miles. After you cross the milford/hopkinton line, 85 curves sharp right and down a bit, then goes uphill curving left, and College Street is on the right just after the crest of the hill. (If you pass Cornell's pub on the right , accross from some new construction homes, you've gone too far.) ...turn right onto College road, and the parking area is about .2 of a mile down the road on the right, it's not really well marked, there's a sign that reads "no tresspassing after dark". I'll make an effort to post conditions by 8:am...check earlier though, I'll drag my sorry arse outta bed as early as I can.

In reply to: I checked the dirs on the RC.com routes DB and I should really update them, they arent precise enough (Orangekayak, I aint' castin' no aspersions, dig? ) no aspersions taken, rob, it's everyone's dbase, i hope you decide to update it. I don't know college rock so it would be nice if y'all who do know it would stay on top of the scene. wish i could make it out in the am ... i have to put in some qt with the woman. later, jeremy
