did Dave Matthews or Jack Johnson make the list? I like them a lot and they're good (Dave is a lot better than Jack Johnson I think.)

Here's a couple in no particular order. Robert Johnson Les Paul Jimi Hendrix Steve Vai Satch Eric Johnson SRV Angus Young Malcom Young (rythum is harder than you think) Muddy Waters Little Walter Guitar Slim Lightning Slim Sonny Boy Williamson (the bluebird recordings) Johnny Shines Bo Diddly (he only played one chord, but it was the right chord) Howlin' Wolf Robert Jr. Lockwood J.B. Lenoir Jimmy Reed Magic Sam Buddy Guy Robert Cray John Lee Hooker Earl Hooker Junior Wells Blind Willie Johnson Blind Boy Fulton Charlie Patton Son House Leadbelly Bukka White Eddie F&^%#ng Van Halen Ry Cooder (slide master) Dwayne Almond Randy Rhoads Zack Jimmy Page Robin Trower Ritchi Blackmore Eric Clapton Jeff Beck Mick Mars Ace Freely Robby Krieger That dude from australia, Malsteen?? (Im drawing a blank) Bruce Moore Aldo Nova Steve Stevens Dick Dale And the country gentleman, Chet Atkins I have alot more but Im tired. Danooguy, we have more in common than anyone knows. Noone ever has or ever will play guitar like Hendrix. Noone is even in the same building. He did revolutionize music and there are faster, cleaner players, but he was a true"original" and hit the ground running He was the first to experiment with those sound scapes and brought it to a level that others had to work thier a$$ off to immitate. He did what came natural, to simply blow the publics mind.
