Jen, I wish you could make it down for Rocktoberfest, it should be awesome. I will try to make it up to visit soon...not sure if it will be this fall or not. Is Devil's Lake really worth the drive?? Ok, so I'm joking. I heard it's really good and different from the red.
Oh, and to all you people going to rocktoberfest....well I'll just post that in the other thread where I guess it belongs...so see other thread!

hey organic, im all up for dropping school but i dont know about guiding people. living in camp 4 seems more appealing. or just bumming around anywhere for a couple of months would beat the hell out of wisconsin!

Sounds like you all had a blast - to bad I couldn't get up there a couple days earlier.. But I can (yay) proudly say I've been inducted into the trad leaders circle. They weren't too difficult (do a dozen or 2 wasps bussing your ears add to the grade??) - I led Queens Throne, B-Minor (hence the name), and Sunken Pillar (wasps + groundhog determined to get my lunch snacks). I even managed to do a "devils lake" 5.9+ (I understand why they put that in quotes now, hehe).

OK!!! There is something f-ing wrong with this website. Anyways, I AM the infamous MOWZ. Katie, I have no idea who you are but thank you for the compliment on this thread.
There are so many peeps on this thread now and I have no idea who most of you are because I've been busting tail getting the new Galyans ready. ARG. I failed the web based climbing wall test twice already!!!!!! ARG.
Anyways, sorry to hear that Organic can't go to the Red. What the hell was that comment about squinting eyes and being Cinnese? Organic, I'm going to pee all over your sleeping bag tonight. Hahahaha. No, seriously, I am.
Well, I would like to set up a trip after Rocktoberfest so that I can meet all you new peeps and get re-aquainted with those I haven't seen in a while, especially single Ericka. Please, let us set up a trip. I need this fix after the J-Falls trip went badly. I need to give my boss 1 month's notice. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was nice to get on here again but I need to go now because my sister will beat me up soon. I hope to hear from all of you guys soon.
P.S. Who wants to climb tomorrow night? I will be there untill 8:30pm or so. Sunday? I will be there I don't know when.

perfect sense, actually. chris is on his way up to devil's lake now to talk with dre (not climbing or drinking...he's still paying for last night out with me and a close encounter with some tequila.) :D
i'm really busy right now with teaching and grad school and buying a house and moving, so that's my excuse, more or less. on the 11th cole's got a big festival/fundraiser going on at his school that i've got to volunteer at too.
i am planning on climbing all day on the 4th, weather and babysitter permitting. are y'all coming up then? chris and i will be there, possibly spending the night on saturday. chris needs practice drinking with us wisconsin lushes, anyway. :twisted:

I'll be down at HP40 from the 2nd through the 5th. Sure, a bit more of a drive, but unbelieveable bouldering..
Also, what's the deal with another gtg up at the Lake before the season is "finished"? I'm not sure if I'll be able to get up there the weekend of the 12th, but what about the weekend after?
