Anyone from Indiana interested in going on a climbing road trip? To the gorge?

Hello,
my name is shaun o'connor. As far as location and stuff, I am a sophomore at Ball State in muncie. As far as climbing, I worked in Yosemite Valley all summer and climbed like mad. I am very glad to finally find someone in indiana who is down to get up. I have all my personal gear, sadly, no rack though. I'm told the Gorge will sport climb you to death. anyway, please mail me back, i'd rather have you personally email me at smoconnor@bsu.edu. I have lots of homework usually, but climbing is more important. ;-)

shaun

Wow... Ball U is my alma mater...

Oh the memories:

Streaking in the Backen Library... Quater beer night at The Chug... Dill Street Bar and Grill's grand opening... Smoking weed under Benny's shadow... Watching Chandler Thompson and crew make a run to the Sweet 16, and hanging from the street lights in the Village... Flying Tomato pizza... Mugly's for Burgers (I hear it's got a new name now, but it will always be Mugly's to me...) 3 am drives to Anderson for White Castles... Living two blocks away from Muncie Liquor Store #1.

Thanks, guys... a good stroll down memory lane.

Andy, we should get something together for Jackson Falls some time soon. That would be a great road trip, since i live in Mucnie and JF is like 5 hrs from here. I see you are in Evansville......so what do U think

Well... I think I'm full through November. Dawson Bluffs & the Speedway Mafia from Indy are keeping me busy, along with work, a birthday party, a wedding, and a vacation to eastern TN. I will shoot for late December? Pack your parkas and coleman heaters boys cause its gonna be a bit chilly. The climbing is still great. It won't be my first December climbing in So. Ill. Maybe we can all chip in for a hotel in Vienna. I've done that before... they have a nice indoor pool and liquor stores close by, might even be a bar or two but I haven't looked into that.

psycho mushroom dude from ball state, if you want to get into sport, then its on. I sport and have a pretty decent rack, One thing i don't own a car, but we can split petro if we road trip it.

lets meet up on campus sometime.

Sounds good man....i don't have any gear what so ever......all i have is shoes and a bouldering pad.....no car either....but i am planning on getting a harness and a belay device....have to hold out on the rope and what not because of lack of funds....and yes we should meet up somewhere. Won't be on campus this weekend but pick a time and place and i will see if i can make it.
