I dont know, I mean, I've found it really hard at time to get a climbing partner (since I begin, my boss "teach" me, but after he get married and is really hard to climb for him (time, you know). But, really is hard for you to do it (find a good climbing parner????) what's your perfect profile for ????

Partner for what? lead sport or trad? Or just top rope. If you cant find someone and you top rope get a self belay device. I recommend the Petzl Basic Ascender. I own on myself and love it.

Hi, Miagi,is it safe to go toproping alone?I have often thought of doing that, but I am fearful of the days waiting for help to come.Generally I can dissapear for days before someone gets worried,so I think I WOULD be waiting for days.Maybe longer. Climb Happy Mitch Really, would you recomend it?

Well, its somewhat safe if you know what your doing. But then again climbing really isnt safe all the time. If your experienced and have a good idea of what your doing you will be fine. One example is lets say you get up to the top of a climb...well almost the top and now you want to come down but your weight is on a ascender....how the hell are you going to get down lol. Unless you remembered your prussiks and descender your stuck lol. I sent you a PM mitch if you want to know how. I self belay all the time because i cant find a belayer and i have had no real safety hazards. So if you or anyone else wants info on it i'd be glad to help.

I find that if you refrain from dropping your present partners...you may not need to look for new ones... (Just a bit of insight)

Ronnin: get me a job in Mexico and I'll go climbing with you any time. There's nothing for me in the states now and I've been thinking hard about moving south.

I agree with Hangerless. Don't drop your current climbing partner. Even if he starts having kids....and can't go as often... and climbs way easier routes than you...I mean..if that ever happened...it would be important not to drop your current partner.....really....don't do it...even if sexy climbing chicks are PM'ing you every day...it would be a bad decision...i think.
