I have a space under my deck that is about 12 feet high and about 30X30 feet. Granted this wouldnt be a big gym, just a small system training wall, but who out there has built an outdoor home gym. It would be protected from precipitation, but would be pretty exposed to the temp. I live in NC so it doesnt get that cold, although I'm not so sure how bouldering in 20 degrees would be in dead winter. I'd appreciate input. Thanks.

Yeah, go for it. Sure, you might not be able to climb in it when its really cold out but most of the time wouldn't be a problem. Plus, you could do some training during the week or on weekends that you can't climb.

you could put walls all around it, and the put a heater in it and be able to climb year round.
