I wanted to know how bad is it for climbing if the weather channel (weather.com) predicts 30% precipitation. The thing is, Im not that familiarized nither with the weather channel nor the meaning of a 30% precipitation, does it mean, probability of rain? how much rain? or whatever else...

I think they mean probability of precip. 30% is about as good as it gets in Wv. in the summer.

Mm don't know much about the forecast, but since the forecast is for sunday, and today is saturday, and I see a lot of light outside, I can presume we are climbing in Potrero tomorrow YEAH

30% chance of rain is like a message from God to get outside and climb. at least when you live in a rain forest like I do.

30% = Go climb...I remember one time last fall when the Weather Channel called for a 90% chance of rain and cold temps at the New. Being 4hrs. away I said screw it and didn't go, and of course it didn't rain. Long story short, don't always believe the Weather Channel!
