What is your favorite hold that you have ever seen or climbed on?? Mine has to be either the sweet potato, by nicros, or the Boss, by pusher. Whats yours??

Tried and true: the VooDoo Huge Cobble. Entre prises makes something similar now, that's even bigger. They're a bitch to set with, but they make for fun moves.

Cool question. The big holds that have come out in the last couple years really have changed the nature of indoor climbing. My fav is the Voodoo Stardust.

True that. But put that thing way up high on a route when you're all pumped out, wrap both arms around it, watch your feet cut and hold on...! Watching people wrestle with that thing is part of what makes it so much fun too. The bouldering problems with it, and all the big holds, are much more interesting than just crimp/pull.

the Whale Tail fron Nicros. on an 45 overhang it can be a hands free rest.

The boss is my fav choice and I like wrinkly/slugbeast hold by voodoo. But Stonage is coming out with some sweet font series slopers and that "swiss cheese" hold afore mentioned.
Put'em all together and you have one hell of a party!

I just ordered a Big Bleu set and a Mondo (I think that is what it was called) from Franklin. I have a feeling they will quickly become my favorites.

New big hold from synrock - anyone want to give it a name?

The balls are designed so that it takes a while to find the best grip - which will vary from person to person.
It's the best big hold because it isn't plastic at all. The texture and feel is exactly the same as hp-40 sandstone. No contest. Plastic sucks to climb on.
