Outdoor Outreach Climbathon 2004 -- March 13th, 2004 Outdoor Outreach is a California non-Profit Organization committed to providing an opportunity for all children to gain confidence and self-esteem through participation in outdoor activities. Outdoor Outreach's second annual Climb-A-Thon is being held on March 13th at Vertical Hold. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support our 2004 programs. There will be a raffle and multiple competitions including speed, difficulty, and bouldering. Competitions are male, female and age specific. Prizes will be awarded to top climbers. Participants will be challenged to climb as many feet as possible and seek pledges to support their effort. Prizes will be awarded to the top three fundraisers. The $25 registration fee includes all day climbing and a t-shirt. There will also be free lessons and equipment rental for first time climbers. Outdoor Outreach Event website Sign-up!

Currently, the amount raised is only $2361 short of the target. Good stuff.

Worth a try, it is all for a good cause and all  Mind you, it only gave me three hits to the web page and no more donations. :( Maybe I should just put it as my signature... -- http://www.kintera.org/...-15305608&e=63333462

In reply to: Mind you, it only gave me three hits to the web page and no more donations. :( And, one of those hits was me. Al, I'll tell you what, I'll sponsor you $10 if you complete the V3 boulder problem that's on the same section as the "stretchy" V2. I'll buy you a beer too...
