Has anyone done any climbing down in the virgin islands? I'm headed that way for a week and would love to bring my shoes, if there's anything down there. Thanks

WHat Island are you going to specifically? They all tend to have worthy rock formations, but its all bouldering as far as I know.

Some have national parks that are very remote and beyond beautiful.... did some work a for client based there. Never got to go on the photo shoot tho.

Virgin Gorda looks real nice. I'm going to st. john and tortola so i don't know if that's close or not but sweet pics regardless.

IIRC, Virgin Gorda is the next island to the north/east of Tortola. Theres a ferry that goes over a few times a day.

For beta, check out Noah Kaufman's page (which is down at the moment):

from beef island take a taxi over to the other side of the island and get on the ferry to virgin gorda. the ride isnt that long. the boulders are strewn for a good distance along the beach and the rock is sooooo nice. be sure to hunt for boulders whose underside are worn out. many times there will be normal lookin boulders that have a crawl space where the water goes under and the whole underside is worn out rendering some great traverseing and bock problems. aside from virgin gorda i think there might be some rock at the top of st johns but not sure. never got over there. all you will ever need is at the baths on virgin gorda.
