Now im a bit of a dyno lover and i've been thinking (omg perish the tought) about how you have graded trad climbs with a difficulty rating and an aid rating, or an exposure grade on some climbs. Well what about a grading system that specifically refers to dynos. For example say theres a sport route with a huge dyno in it somewhere you could rate 512.c D3 or something like that, could work for boulder problems as well or problems that are just dynos. sounds like i could just be talkin out my ass here but cant win em all.

so heres the proposed grading system

D1: pfft, that aint a dyno, i could campus that static
D2:
D3:
D4: big move easy catch
D5:
D6: big move, bad catch, starting to get pretty hard
D7:
D8: big move, ackward launch, rancid catch. hard.
D9:
D10: holey F**k, how the f**k are ya spose to make that. dam near impossible

Yo dude,

I think it's a pretty hot notion! I know of a couple of problems that aren't really that tough, but have a nasty dyno which could relly be cleared up by a grading system like this. I like the idea.
