Are you talking about Breakneck Rocks in McConnels Mill State Park? I have been there several times. Most climbs in the guidebook are unnamed and in the 5.10s. The access to the area is on the difficult side, but the climbs are decent.

Not Breakneck at the Mill - Breakneck Rocks near Connellsville. Its a new sport climbing crag we've developed and started telling folks about. Taller cliff with some cool clip ups. Check it out on my site www.climbpa.com

Tim, Nice job on finding/developing Breakneck. Spent a nice day there in early June. I appreciate the moderates that were bolted... I've been climbing for several years now but only started leading sport this past Spring. It was hard to find lower graded bolted routes and so it was hard for me to get accustomed to leading. I'm sure all people can use an easy route to start leading on. Plus, the rock is great, a great improvement from the Mills!

I really like this area, I've climbed there many times - its small but the routes are pretty long and generally good quality. You can't really come here more than once a month though unless you have a project going

We did a day at Breakneck, it was quite fun. The routes are fun, and high quality. Definitely worth a day trip. What is the new web page for the guide? Also, we found a new route there, to the right of mosquito, it was maybe 10b -Dan

my friend and i were out at breakneck wednesday. we climbed for 5 and a half hours then went to bud murphy's in town (awesome place)! after we had a nice buzz goin we went back and crashed at the campsite on top. GREAT time! everything went perfect. i was excited about the quality. some of the routes are pretty scary to lead... the first bolts on many are high up with bad landings. be careful! transfusion is an excellent line!
