you guys are all losers.....

who cares how its graded... the fact is, someone did this fckn hard line.... ive felt the holds seen the moves and he gets big props in my books for his achievements....

i think you guys need to get out more and stop b---- and moaning on the net all fckn day.....

get a life losers!

You what crawled up your as$, you refer to everyone in theis thread as a loser, beacuse you have felt the holds, and we havent, geta life Aussie, SUcker!!!!

no... i call you loosers because you cant stop for a minute and reconise a huge achievement, instead, you moan about grades and grading and how it was in the good ol days and how it should be ect... if you want to rant all day about the v system start a thread for it.... this isnt about whos man hood is biggest its about someone who has achieved somthing some of the worlds best have not. this problem is in my local area, i know the line and its nails! theres no way me or thousands of other climbers will ever come close to climbing that hard and even to imagine that someone has completed it especially after fred failed is all the more remarkable.
meh what ever... keep your little spitting match going, but give respect where its due...

here here joe! full heartedly agree!

first, have any of you here linked 2 v14's into each other? no i hear you all say...then you have no educated opinion on how to grade such a problem as the one under discussion. do i hear tall poppy syndrome blowing in the air????

secondly, why is it that everytime someone makes a breakthrough in climbing it is scrutinized and bagged by you lot? ahh, without breakthroughs and new grades claimed, we would all still be climbing 5.7's. theres a fair chance that if someone can climb v15 or 5.14d, that they will eventually find something that is going to be harder then anything they have ever done, hence they grade it v16 or 5.15a.

and i can assure you all that, not out of experince, but common sense, that a V12 crux on a single problem, is going to feel a hell of a lot harder after 50 odd v9-v12 moves.

no no no wait...... I think it is really important that we rate this thing that we will never climb...... this is very very important that WE rate this climb..... lets continue

Yeah, why don't we just let the professionals who can climb it rate it. Dai is the only one and he rated it V16...you can't dispute it unless you climb it and rate it something else....Nicole can't even dispute it so why would anyone here think they can. Personally I can't tell the difference between a V11 and a V17 or between a 5.14a and a 5.15d because they're all equally impossible for me.

Easy, Whitetwerp. No need to bring nationality into this, big fella. We can all be civil here, can't we? If not, let me know

And, yeah, I repeated Jim Holloway's three hard ones. I just didn't see a need to report it. They are wicked hard and not reach dependent at all (I'm 4'9'' ). Definitely B3 if ever the was such a thing.

And I love Badass's profile - ' I'm going to be one of the top ten best.....blah, blah, blah ' . No one cares. You sound like a tool. You say either 'top ten' or 'ten best'. Saying both makes you sound like a total nob.
Come to think of it, you would sound like a nob anyway. Let me know when you join that select group of elite climbers. I'll sell my gear and buy a kayak.

Well done to Dai but I agree with whoever said ''give it a French traverse grade and be done with it''.

well the tunnell to tuuuuuunnnnnnelllll prodj is simple you sit start at the far small side of the cave [ THE ACTUAL OTHER END ] its a very cool tiny well 5 by 5 hole and began to climb on extreme cool an easy v9 and then you finish on eve rave ....or whatever .... about 60 feet of climbin....... maybe thats where dai started ,, i dunno ?...but i think he started on sleepy which is not the very start of the tunnel .... ask the aussies .... i think there are some slightly loose holds between x treme cool and sleepy but it could be done ..... its the obvious line ..PERIOD .... DARK

Your profile says you have only done 3 v10s. By your standard quoted above, you haven't done enough v10s to have done a real v11. Quit your beetchin and STFU!

Personally I think anyone finishing a project is great whatever level they climb at. Congrats to Dai is about all I can say about it.

If Dai sends out 3 legitimate V15's then I would still say he is climbing routes not bouldering problems. Look at the definition in itself Boulder PROBLEM. Like math it is something that should have to be solved. Linking 60 moves of V3 doesn't make it a boulderproblem unless he had to solve the V3 crux. hehe Oh and you should be ashamed to taint the good name of a man like Wyatt Earp. I doubt a man of his character would resort to simple name calling. At least put some effort into your jealous insults.

Most of us? I think that would be all of us except you because you claim you did a v11. So why don't you tell us what you would rate it.
