Well i am just kinda curious, how much time you guys spend on this site. I guess we will go with per day. For myself i would say that i am looking at things on this site while i am doing other things on my computer at least 1-2 hrs a day. Maybe more but i would be bad to addmit it I guess the next best thing to climbing is looking at climbing stuff and talking about it. - Rock Freek -

Too much. To the point where I wish I didn't know people had me listed on their 'friends' list. But hey! I don't have a TV and how else am I supposed to procrastinate?

I too probably spend an average of 1-2hrs a day on this site. It will be a lot less this summer though while I am in Maine working at a camp. There are computers for the counselors, but they are not that easy to get on. I hope to be spending some time adding some area and route info for this one climbing spot in Maine. Edit- After the last couple of nights, I would have to say 2-3 instead of 1-2. [ This Message was edited by: kaptk on 2002-05-02 00:00 ]

Since I may spend 6-7 hours of my shift entering records on the computer, I'm always looking to find a diversion. So, when I'm working, it's scary to think how often I pop unto this site. When I'm not working, hardly ever. Too bad I always seem to be working :-) Bulldog

About one to three hours, depending on the weather here, the worse the weather the more I'm on the computer! Jeff

for me it depends on the day. If I am not at work could be 4+ hours a day... if it a a slow day...maybe only 2-3 hours. I will admit, that while my son was smaller and slept a lot more, I was able to play basically all day long (maybe 6+ hours) but now he wants lots of attention and I play with him a lot more.

Hey Russman....it is good that you have found that playing with your son is better than looking at RC.com. Good Move - Rock Freek -

Well considering I keep my laptop on, most of the day...pop on in the morning...and sometimes stay until the wee hours of the night. LOTS! I don't watch TV..I am very active. I also do tons of multitasking as I surf RC.com Online and off. I've got it down to a science hehehehe WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! T

Well, on average, I spend a minimum of four or five hours online. I can't say that I spend all this time on rockclimbing.com, though, because I don't. Now, ask how much time I spend in chat, and you'll get a different answer... (does 4-5 hours per day in chat qualify me for "addict" status?)

More time than I spend doing my homework, although I do make the claim that I'm just doing mandatory research for my independant project.

Whenever I have a paper or test the next day: too frieken' much. When I don't have anything to do: way way too frieken' much. The forums are addictive and I dig pm'ing people around me. So overall it depends on the day but prolly about 2 hours a day, maybe less maybe more. How about a counter system for logins and time online for each user? Possible?
