OK, so here's the deal: I'm living in China, but most of my climbing gear is in storage in Utah. I leave China in two weeks, and I'll be going to So. Cal for a few weeks before heading up to Utah. But there is this one aid climb that I want to do. It's a two pitch route, and the second pitch goes out this huge roof. The only problem is that my aid gear is in Utah. So... I'm going to tie some aiders and daisies out of 1" webbing. Not ideal, I know, but I really want this climb and don't want to have to buy a whole new set of aid gear for it. So, the question is... what is the process for aiding over a roof with traditional aiders, daisies, fifi hook, etc. Thanks guys! -Tristan

Pretty much the same...try not to flail around too much and trash your arms.

don't backclean on the lead or you (or your second) won't be able to clean the pitch very easily
