Any other women climbers out there have to deal with breast cancer and getting mutilated by a surgen under the arm? Could use the advice of a woman who has been there re lymphedema, scar tissue, the 15 pound weight limit for life stuff, etc. FYI - younger and younger women are getting breast cancer these days, as young as 19. PLEASE DO YOUR MONTHLY SELF EXAM!!! www.komen.org has the directions if you don't know how. Guys reading this, there is a monthly exam for you too! Lance Armstrong's book will give you the details of not paying attention. A google search should help you find the how-to's.

Good luck on your recovery. Another question was asked related to breast cancer a little while back. Here's the link: http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=580941&highlight=#580941 not the same thing, but somewhat related. Good luck!!
