after a nice little rc.com break i've decided to return... many of you are probably thinking, "i didn't even know you were gone". I just sort of slipped out the back door for a while.
To catch you all up on what I've been up to:
Toward the end of May I moved out of Kelowna to the suburbs (Country O Lakes) where I now live in a beautiful three storey home with all the furnishings. I truly love living out here, and have gotten to know many more new and interesting people here. Although, the commute back and forth to Kelowna is a real bitch.
During the last week of May I went on a trip to Quebec with my Jazz band to the National Montreal Jazz Festival where we competed and took home Silver. Our other jazz band class (who was in the same category) took home the Gold. I spent most of my free time there touring all over Montreal and, of course, shopping. It was an incredible experience and I'd love to go back.
Other than that I've been trying to get a job, and spend my summer as a teenager, doing some climbing, going to concerts and having as much fun as I can before I have to go back to one last year of high school.
Anyways... glad to be back (I think...) :D

nice to hear news from you. I didn't know you were playing jazz. Do you play in big bands or in smaller groups?

aye well. If i remember correctly, the "dude that i was hot for"... well nothing's changed in that situation, but i am seeing much less of him due to our summer events.
the war between my father and i is never ending... currently we've argued about driving situations. we're not on talking terms right now ...
(i keep forgetting about rc.com, am i drifting?)

Nice to meet ya ;) Kudos on the jazz band award! What do you play? I used to be in a jazz band myself. Played the trombone. Boy I miss that!
