Should i have written that i am an auusie chick in the subject header ??? :D

i am looking for people who are interested in going climbing around rumney, conway, cannon, acadia and the gunks for two weeks from Aug 16th - til the 29th. I will be in Boston on the 16th.

If you only have 2 or 3 days let me know, that could work too.

I don't have a car or tent, but have been working at a summer camp in New hampshire the past two summers, so know Rumney pretty well. I have all my own gear, including a reasonable trad rack and half ropes.

i haven't done too much stuff lately, but can lead 5.9 trad most of the time, and follow 10s.

Im on a budget, so want to travel as cheap as possible.

PM or post here if you are interested.

cheers and beers, sally. :P

1) Dennis, we're not going to pay a dime to climb, don't you worry last 1/2 of September.

2) At Cannon Ledge/Cliff the first pitch variation of 8-pitch Moby Grape is single-pitch Reppy's Crack - I soloed the first 20 feet, up and then down, when I didn't have time to climb it. That crack is too sweet!

Oh yes David I forgot u told me u boulder that ... But I was so tired after that Bushwack down nothing was sinking in . how about that cold ass bath I took in that Kettle. The hole top of my head was numb>That shore was some fun stuff. God I love it up there. But I hear the Gunks has a good swiming hole. That should be some fun stuff too.

Sally -

Don't know if you'll get this, but if you're looking for a partner this weekend (or any of the next few weekends) i'd be willing to meet up in NH somewhere.

If you're who i think you are, i met you a couple of summers ago when your camp did a week of climbing through Petra Cliffs up der in VT. I was your fearful climbing instructor, do you remember my silly beard? You were kind enough to send me a thank you card, and i never sent one back. Silly me. Wanna climb?

silly david

Nope wasn't me. never done a climbing course in the states.

as luck has it i have found climbing partners for all my time here - and am happy that today was a planned rest day as it is raining steady.

Heading to the gunks tomorrow with a couple others.
Thanks for all the interest.

happy climbing,

cheers, sal.
