"Close calls" by John Long. Leaving for Italy I was looking for "Looking for Mo" as either Amberchick or Maculated suggested, but the "climbing literature" shelves at the bookstores around here are pathetic. I ended up with Close Calls and "Free Spirit" by Messner. He can certanly climb anything but writing is not his strong point. Loved Close calls, a list of accidents and (avoidable) disgraces generally very funny all happening mostly on El CAp. Like that guy that wanted to have sex at pitch 4 of a route on El Cap, decided that the harness was too uncomfy for the act and opted for a ankle tied rope...for him and his woman...LOL

deep play by paul pritchard is excellent. moab's public library has the most kick ass climbing literature collection ever. thanks yvon!
