I peruse the Highline pics often, wondering in the way that i often do, 'What would happen if that (albeit near to impossible) tape blew out, and you have just that lil leash and biner, and no back up knot? Im curious. :?:

Almost all of the highliners that I've heard of have at a minimum a threaded main line (where you put another strand of say 9/16" webbing through the middle of the 1" webbing) and usually resort to multiple main 1" lines that are set in a method that allows them to be taped together making the appearance of a single line.
