This past weekend I was in Boulder for a wedding and while there got in some climbing. Last Friday I ended up in Boulder Canyon and my partner and I set up a rope on an unidentified route. The rock is right at the parking lot for The Dome and Elephant Buttresses and I think is called "Rock Island". We found a set of bolts with rings on it and set up our anchor there. Below is a picture with my partner at the top getting ready to rappel and the rope running essentially over the path we took climbing, though we headed more to the right at the thin looking section about 2/3 of the way up. http://img.photobucket.com/...rockislandpan_sm.jpg Can anyone identify the route?

Yeah, it looks like the boulderer in the picture is on that route. We climbed about eight feet to the left of where he is. Thanks for the link.

There's also a few pitons about 20 feet up some 20 feet right of the boulderer. In addition, about 60 feet off the deck is a pair of bolts with chains. The old washer - length of chain - bolt set up. Felt about 5.7 to me.
