I am driving out from Wi to do some bouldering around Lumpy Ridge but heard something about the parking area being moved and some possible problems with access. Any local beta would be great. Please PM me any info. I don't want to be the ignorant tourist that screws the locals. Thank you.

DId you get any feed back to your inquiry on Lumpy Ridge bouldering parking access? I am going out there soon and have the same question.

I know there has been talk about the parking lot being moved but I do not think it has happened yet. Basically if there is no parking in the lot go back out to the main road and park out there. You'll have to hike in the mile or two to get back to the main lot. Parking on the access road will cause problems and probably get you towed. Otherwise there are no other issues with the area that I am aware of.
