Life is stressfull around my house...lately.
VACATION!!!
I take off for a nice 4 day trip to California...my old stomping grounds !
A couple of months back...I hit Joshua Tree again.
My soul still is there. Will always be my favorite spot. Without a doubt.
This trip, I hit up beerandblood for two days of climbing Mt. Rubidoux and Carona Del Mar : pirates cove. Amazingly beautiful. Glenn (beerandblood) trooped along with an injured ankle. Showed me the beauty that I found just curiously surreal...the area is developed around by newer housing...yet still saw wildlife. Coyote, hawks...lizards. KEWL!
Glenn is an amazing soul...heart of gold. A good friend in him
On another day I spent at Williamson, with hangerlessbolt(Robert). The drive up was grey and cold...hit a certain elevation...and SUNSHINE! Nice and warm...beautiful scenery! We met up with Froggy! That chick rocks! Tenacious and determined.
She worked this one route...never to give up! Nice!
She is an inspiration...to watch. She lapped this one route, that reminded me of how I climb. HARD!
I hope to climb again sometime with her!
Robert lead and I TR'd. Started on a 5.10ab!! Loved that! Because the rest of the day...lower grades, felt like a great accomplishment.
Ate in the sunshine...watched and talked to the locals. Great energy! The hike out?? Fricken KILLED me. Lungs hurt!!

FAMISHED!! Saved the day! Robert and I went to dinner after, fairly late. I laughed so fricken hard the whole meal. Blew snot...Blew food outta my mouth...and??? inhaled food up my nose...
AH such FUN!!!!!!! I kid you not! The best time
The next morning I met Jeepmonkey for Breakfast
Jeep Jeep!! I met him at the first Josh Gathering...and we've been IM'ing since. He's one to make me laugh also. We talked, until he had to go to work. Nice visit just need to climb next time.
All in all...I forgot my worries! Hated to come back.
Now it'll be UTAH!! whoo hoo!!
Looking forward to meeting more RC.com friends!

Glenn(beerandblood) is the only one I have met inperson and climbed with. He is definitely the real deal. If you have never heard T's laugh(or is it a giggle?)you don't know what you are missing. I have gotten to know Robert(hangerlessbolt) electronically and a funnier person you will NEVER meet! I look forward to meeting and climbing with you all in Yosemite!
