Believe it or not I got this idea at Subway! Have you ever seen them rap a sub? Well I incorparated that into making myself a rope bag. I used my army poncho, (pretty much just a multi purpose tarp) I flake out my rope on the tarp and then wrap it just like a sub, you roll it up a little then fold in the sides and roll it the rest of the way up. I sewed some webbing and snap clips at the end so you can just buckle it and tighten it up to keep it all in place, I also sewed a shoulder strap on it. It works great! The rope never tangles and you can always use the tarp to keep the rope clean.
Just wanted to put that out there for you guys, any other home-made stuff out there?

I dont know if this would work but heres my idea. Go to a junkyard, and take some seatbelts. Buy some cheap beaners. Tye the belts into draws. Presto, instant Quick draws. I dont know if it would work, so dont trust your life with that. It's just a thought.

seat belts are like 3 inches thick, that is gonna be a beeyotch to get through a carabiner/tie a waterknot on, but, i suppose if you really wanted to you could do it.
