I heard yesterday, unofficially, that he was a couple of pitches from the top. I was wondering about him today too. Jody Langford said that 9 people were being rescued from El Cap today. I heard that a couple of people were being rescued on the news this morning. Let's hope that if Dave is one of them, he's in pretty good shape. Actually, let's hope that they all are OK. Look at the Supertopo thread, Ricardo.

Looks like some mighty wicked stuff that blew in this week. How about 'Boney? Wasn't Lambone supposed to be up there this week? I hope everyone is having the epic of their lives in a survivable fashion. It's all fun and games around the campfire next week unless you became a popsicle during the storm. Lets hope everyone is safe. Ed

In reply to: How about 'Boney? Wasn't Lambone supposed to be up there this week? On a different BB, he said he was heading up NA Wall solo starting Oct 15.

Thanks for the concern guys, luckily the storm blew in on the night I arived in the Valley, so i didn't have time to get up there and get screwed. I did end up doing Skull Queen in a push during a brief window...which was fun stuff. Dave took a rest day on Sat before the storm then got stuck one pitch from the top. He juged up a rope lowered by YOSAR. Old news by now... Leaving for South America tommorow!

I've seen you posting the last couple of days -- good to hear you missed the drama, bro. That must have been an erie experience to be in the Valley during a history-making stom like that. A huge thank you to all of those who pitched in and were involved with the effort to rescue the climbers and lost hikers last week. The SAR dudes and dudettes are absolute freakin heros. Nice job, guys. Ed *edited to make Kate happy ;-)
