ales for pleasure, lagers if i wanta get pissed (which is rare)

now, when it comes to ales, my favs are Stouts, next would be dark ales, then next is Pale ales

honey and cream ales are good too, but sometimes had to find a good brewery that makes a good one (sleemans and granville island :righton: )

i brew exclusively ales at this point, but when i move into my new house in a month or two i will put a fridge in the basement just for lagering. in general i prefer ales with IPAs and ESBs being my favorite, but a well done bock or pilsener is a wonderful thing. mass market lager is terrible though.

Guinness stout if in a bar where they know how to serve it. Pale Ale or IPA if they don't.

Bridgeport IPA (Portland OR) when at home.

if i told you my fridge and cupboard are full of old peculier, black sheep best, newcastle brown, and jennings bitter etc, does that give you a clue as to where my feelings lie.

It's actually possible to brew lagers without a fridge. If you can keep your basement in the 50's, then you should be gold. I's got to make me a doppelbock one of these days.
