Ok, this is my Xmas present from MYSELF TO ME ! :D Which is a better measuring instrument ?? Suunto X6 HR or Polar AXN 500 Tried the newsgroup and google , NO RESULT WHATSOEVER ! Help !!

I would go suunto all the way, very reliable watch, ive got the vector and the scubadiving model the titanium stinger.

I too have the Suunto Vector. In my eyes it is one of the best investments I have ever bought. Go with the Suunto, they have amazing customer service and their watches just plain out rule and although big, look very sexy.

I think if it's the heart rate functions your going to be using most, polar is the way to go. They have been doing it for a long long time and as a sales person i never have problems with polar coming back defective or for whatever reason. However, polar is new to the whole outdoor beefy alt/barometer compass watch thing. If that's what you really want maybe go with suunto. They both look realllly nice :D

GO SUUNTO! Great compass' great customer service and great reputation! I tried to get some info on Kestrel in another forum and bombed! Wouldn't recommend Kestrel BTW! Customer service???? Quality? Wish I had gone Suunto myself!
