palo duro has some bouldering, but if you don't go with someone who's been, it's pretty hard to find anything to do, it's pretty scattered. i agree, go into the wichitas/quarts mountain

I live in Amarillo and go out to the canyon 2 or 3 times a week. Plenty of bouldering. Let me know if you want to meet out there I'll be happy to show you the problems I know.
