Some moron broke into my truck and found the Nikon 5200 digital camera, which was stashed under my seat. I sure wish I had uploaded my Colorado climbing trip pics... So, I need a new pro-sumer camera for climbing. Any suggestions? :? My preferences: - <$550. - Lightweight, to carry while trad or alpine climbing. - 4, 5 or 6 megapixels. - 3x optical or greater. - Quick start-up. - Multiple settings (landscape, night, sports, people, etc.) - Minimal shutter-lag (correct term?); sports mode would take care of this. - Excellent color/image. - Long battery life; not sure if AA batteries, NimH or Lith Ion is best. (I understand some of the different debate points). I have reviewed previous threads. Everyone on this site seems impressed with the Canon A75, A80, etc. And yes, I am aware of www.dpreview.com I was thinking about again buying the Nikon 5200, unless recommended otherwise! Thanks in advance, JD
