Got a pair of zlippers today at the Alpine Shop non-used for $55. Anybody else have a pair and if so what have you done with them( like 5.12 or a large multi pitch climb or crack etc.)

I loved my zlippers...still do. :( my zipper busted on one shoe. have to have a cobbler fix it. The mountain sole resoling said they couldn't repair the zipper. pout* bought them at 5 10's warehouse, $25!! brand new resole, and someone else wore them in for me woooot! loved them!!! ~T

Great shoes! I did 12b in em, but I don't think it's just the shoes that got me up... I wore em down to nothing, and desperately need a resole, just haven't really been motivated to do it, you know how it is. You definitly bought some awesome shoes, cherish them. :D

My first pair of serious shoes were the Zlippers. I got them from the 5.10 shop in redlands for 60 bucks. I loved those shoes a lot! First time climbing in them was bouldering in Camp 4. Climbed my way all through 5.11 in those shoes throughout the Southeast. When the West called again, I took my chalkbag and Zlippers to Phoenix. We had some great times there. Sadly, I didnt redpoint .12 in my Zlips. Before I upgraded to Mugens, I actually wore them down till I had quarter size holes in the big toe area on both shoes. I had to tape up my toes before I climbed..... Man those were the days... I hope you enjoy your Zlippers as much as I did. RJ
