Ok- if you are holding your breath, you may have to become just a little bit more cyanotic. The printer told me yesterday that it MAY be mid to late February before they ship books to me. This potential final delay is out of my hands. So solly cholly.

To reiterate, you should be able to make your order starting January 17, but understand that books may not ship to you until late Feb.

Being that no one else bucked up to write a guide book since the last edition....Thanks for getting it together Eric. It will be well appreciated.

Geez, I've heard nothing but whining on this for several years of dropping back in occasionally to check on the SI scene! While Eric and I don't see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, his work producing these guides has been a fairly monumental and often thankless task. You guys down there are lucky he's as tenacious as he is.

And of course, you might just consider the possibility of wandering out on to the stone under the purvey of your own judgment, sorting out what you can climb or not by eyeballing it for yourself - it's not like the routes are so tall you'll be forced to bivy if you make a bad call and epic once in awhile.

Wandering in SoIll? WTF man are you crazy?!?! We have goats, sheep, and killer lammas around here! Order the guidebook... we don't want to read your name in the paper as victim of the latest farm animal related rape.

The guidebooks arrived last weekend. We began shipping orders last Monday. I'm also now selling them on weekends off of the "re-tailgate" of my p/up truck here at Draper's Bluff.

Again, they're $35.95 + $2.25 IL tax (6.25%).
