judging by the snowboarding on sunday, i'd say snowbird would be a pretty good bet.

kirk, depending on the conditions the first couple pitches of the great white icicle are pretty easy and fun. however, if its the weekend there will be other people on it. its in little cottonwood canyon. a fun climb. it was my very first lead on ice a long time ago.

its been a sad year for ice all over. aside from being in the drought (im sick of people bitching about that but i will for our purposes) we have had about a week of really hot weather. most of the stuff in the south fork of the shoshone is still in but i have projects on the north fork, they get sun...they fall down

Bummer. Ice has been decent / good here in Colorado so I assumed SLC would be okay. My only other hobby is blackout drinking, which might be tough in Utah.

boulderinemt,
I'm planning on coming up to Cody in a few weeks. Is it worth my time?
