Hello!
I have been climbing at the gunks for 3 years now and I really want to start climbing with other women who can challenge me. Last year I started leading 5.8 (G rated) routes. I can follow 10's. I don't mind climbing with other men. I have been fortunate enough to have met wonderful and safe men to climb with.... However, the energy is not the same than if I climb with my female friends out west. It's different.
I don't know when or if I'll be moving back out west again, but while I'm in N. Jersey I would really like to team up with other women who want to push themselves, enjoy beautiful long routes, could climb throughout the whole weekend (yes I'm a weekend warrior for now) and who just LOVE climbing.
(I took a rock rescue class at the gunks last season and I'll be taking another this season in New Hampshire. If anyone wants to be in my group, let me know.)

Would love to climb with you, but my trad leading level is much lower than my sport leading. That said, if you ever want an "easy" day, PM me. I travel 3-4 days per week (with my gear), but can usually be spontaneous (i.e. last minute) and flexible.
Good luck finding a woman that is leading GUnks 5.10...there are very few of them out there!
