That is? I am guessing what you meant by "thats."
Try TO be funny or, by "try and BE funny," I imagine what you meant is I try, and was succesful, but then the way you should say it is "try, and was fuuny" or "try, and was succesful in BEING funny." But as it is, it just really doesn't make much sense.

Now I'm just being an a$$hole. I even edited in a partial retraction beofre you posted a reply, jeez, what else do you wan't?

Have a great day. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to my mum's basement. And, really, to be fair, it wasn't a joke, I was more mocking your use of the apostrophe. Here, because I care about you and want you to be happy, I have included a helpful page. http://owl.english.purdue.edu/handouts/grammar/g_apost.html

ok, i get the point, and by saying what i did i prolly sounded stupid, and i apologise. What i want to know is why so many people waste space putting answers that just mock people and dont even be helpful, it's a waste of time. cos these toe cramps are really pissing me off

No worries, I was in a crappy mood. I used to get really bad cramps in my feet when I had my shoes on for too long. Also, sometimes right when I put them on. In my experience, it comes down to a fit and/or sizing issue.
