I am a 21-yr old student who got into climbing through a few friends that took me to a climbing gym. I fell in love!...and started climbing 2-3 days a week when I could find a belay partner. I've become quite obsessive...thinking about the routes I want to conquer when I'm not climbing. I climb mostly indoor, boulder outside sometimes, but I really want to get outside and experience "out there." Anyone who wants to take me with them, I'd be grateful for the mentoring! I cross-train when I can, running, biking and swimming (triathlon-style), and do yoga or pilates once a week. Climbing has helped me realize the world of mountaineering, and I love snowshoeing, hiking, etc. in nearby Tahoe!
