Name: Tim

Interests: Uh, climbing?

More Info:
I enjoy finger cracks, hand cracks, thin face routes, blank slabs, big juggy overhanging monstrosities, long run outs on easy routes, well protected cruxes, exposure, alpine climbing, autumn climbing, winter bouldering, apres-climb nachos and beer, french toast a la Whisper-Lite, granite, sandstone, limestone, gneiss, schist, shale, basalt, and conglomerate. I'm a trad climber, mostly, who will gladly clip a bolt when it's offered; I enjoy crimps, jugs, buckets, pockets, slopers, knee-bars, underclings, mantles, jams, scums, stems, heel hooks, gastons, and my personal favorite: side pulls. I dig chicks who climb 'cause I'm a shoulder man. I'm into mountain biking, back country snowboarding (cause I'm cheap), I've surfed a bit, I used to do a lot of backpacking, but now hiking is just something I do to get to a climb; I play classical guitar, read old books, watch movies, listen to public radio, drink a beer every day, and enjoy a puff in the hottub on weekends. I started climbing 3 years ago and it has consumed my life. I've climbed a lot in North Conway and Rumney, and have also spent time in the Gunks, Red Rocks (NV), Potrero Chico, and single days at various other places. My hometown crags before I moved were Crow Hill in MA (love the grit!), and also College Rock and Hammond Pond. Since I've moved out here I boulder in the gym three times a week, and though I've never been stronger, I'm wondering if I can still climb real rock. I'm looking for new partners, BTW. I've got gear, experience, a car, a sense of humor, and a healthy fear of disaster. Comments posted online do not necessarily represent my own views or those of my associates, and are often written for humor, shock value, spite, or out of boredom, intoxication, or just random spray. We appreciate your business. Thank you and come again!
