Very avid climber in college many years ago...in and around GJ...the Monument, Utah, Unaweep...etc. 50 years old now and just getting back into it as my daughter, Karyn, age 20, is learning.
Back in the "old days", (late 70,s and 80's), before there were many climbers or routes established, we did many routes in the Monument...Independence, Kissing Couple, Sentinel Tower, others etc...Also did some in Utah including Castleton and some other routes. Some were new and we never wrote them down....ah the good old days...lol
Could lead 5.10 + then.
I also have done some winter mountaneering,(Longs Peak, Sneffels,) and ice climbing.
I would like to do moderate routes for fun for a while.
