Climbing since 1994, mainly in southern Illinois (yes, great quality) sandstone. I've taken on some leadership in dealing with access issues, and bothered some people in the process. Oh well; such is life.
I'm enjoying a job that lets me stay closer to home, now, and that means being able to climb more often again, as I approach 50.
My two climbing partners and I have established some routes (noted in the database), and tried to contribute to the quality of the experience that climbers can enjoy in Jackson Falls, Draper's Bluff and Cedar Bluff in Illinois. I've put a lot of southern Illinois info into the Routes database, based primarily (and obviously) on the excellent guidebook for the area (referenced on the pages in the database).
