I originally started climbing back in '97-'98. I climbed mostly at Moore's wall in the early days, and ended up taking a long break from climbing to explore skydiving. I came back to climbing in 2009 and have been working hard to break back out of the moderate range. As of February 2011 I've been able to lead 5.10c/d again on sport; however my preference is strictly traditional. In the winter of 2010-11 I began to explore Ice climbing and hope to continue on ice any time it's in. Looking forward to a Colorado trip this year to break into Alpine climbing; hoping that will continue to take me higher and higher. I'll attempt to second almost anything, prefer ropes to bouldering, and don't mind climbing plastic to train for harder and higher. I'm usually at my local gym (Inner Peaks, Charlotte) on Monday and Thursday nights, and spend every weekend/day off outside that I can.
