I smoke and drink beer. I make off-color jokes and have a very casual attitude about life. Enjoy it while you go it! But you'll be hard pressed to find a more attentive belayer. I've been climbing in the Gunks for over twenty years. I learned to climb with a rope tied around my waist and with my brother giving me a body belay from a secure seat at the top of the cliff. I'm old school. Gyms are for lifting weights and meeting self-centered yuppies. If it ani't rock, it's disco. The Mohonk Preserve is in my heart and my will.
