hi, my name is Jon,I am very interested in climbing and mountaineering,and have been rock climbing for about eight years.I do a lot of bouldering by my home near hesperia california.which is about eighty miles west of joshua tree.I have done lots of routes there and all over southern california.I actually learned to climb by scrambling and tree climbing all over northern california since I could walk,including several visits to yosemite and all over the sierras as I grew up in sonoma county.I mostly focused on ski/snowboarding and anything extreme most of my life,and now have a real passion for climbing.I have been fortunate to do some ice climbing but have to borrow the gear.I recently upgraded my rack and am ready to put up some first ascents at the area I and my friends developed called the luna boulders.
