For reference, I am now a 5.12c climber
I've had this climbing board for years now, and I can't really think of another board that compares. It is HUGE and it has plenty of room for you to grow with. When I first bought the board I felt all of the holds I had had MANY laugh out loud moments. The slopers on the top are ridiculous. I can barely hang from them now, and only for maybe the count of 5. the next row has concave and convex lipped crimps. these are small but easily holdable due to the lip. the third row contains some deep convex shaped, but flat holds which are easy to hold onto. the second row from the bottom is where the real crimps start. the middle of this is easy, the outside is also easy, but smaller.

My favorite row, the bottom, is where the ridiculosity starts. These are HORRENDOUS sloper crimps. The middle part is "better" than the outside. When I first bought the board, I couldn't even try to weight any of these holds. Now I can hang from the middle for a count of 10-15--barely and depending on how i feel that day. The outside ones are still out of reach, but something to look forward to.

Overall, I wish there were some smaller crimps. However this is an amazing board and has enough variety to easily take you to the realm of 5.13.
