Mellow 4 out of 5 stars

A very good film, giving quite a good feel for both areas, with decent camera work. One downside, at least for me, is all the little tiny 1/2 second clips of some of the things in Hueco looked like they would have been more intense than the pieces they devoted more time too.

After being corrected as to what movie I was thinking of I went back in to the collection to dig this one up. Although not a sleeper cause it had the action and some well timed editing. I feel like it lacked something. However I found this movie to be worth while to watch once, and then pass it on to a friend. ps will note that the sound track was pretty tight

This film definitely captures the experience of bouldering in two of the epicenters of the sport - Hueco and Font. The best thing about the film, aside from the great soundtrack, is the fact that it really focuses on climbing without overdoing the special effects or close-up shots of grip positions. This focus is first and foremost evident in the film's almost exclusive use of natural light, which adds a certain realism lacking in some climbing vids. Speaking of realism, it's also refreshing to see a variety of people (not all of them flashing V12s) bouldering, instead of one or two superstars. Beyond the movements of climbing, this film also does a great job capturing the emotions involved, as well as the human connections made through sharing a common passion. Very inspiring!
